What is SCADA?
- SCADA stands for Supervisory Control And Data Aquisition. This term generally refers to a control system (for example, a single PC based control) that functions as master controller for many automated devices and provides useful information to a manufacturing plant operator or supervisor. Similar to HMI but with a greater emphasis on data collection and control of large systems or manufacturing plants.
- Examples of SCADA development tools: Intellution(r), Wonderware(r), GE Cimplicity and Proficy Machine Edition, RS View, etc.
- Lasersoft engineers have real world, plant floor experience that gives them the edge when producing SCADA systems that provide the control and data you need to optimize your manufacturing system.
